What is Google Search Console ?

Google Search Console is a free service offered by Google. It's also called Webmaster Tools. It helps you to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot your website presence in google search results.

HTML file upload verification, In order to verify your website using HTML file upload you will need to have permission to upload the file to your website. where it can be accessed by a browser.

How to create a Google HTML verification file

First we generate an HTML verification file for our website.

• open Google search console and select start now.
• when open window, enter the username and password to your Gmail account.

Consider in an above image, you can verify URL prefix. Enter your website's URL and then click Continue button.

Click the expand the HTML file section and then Download this file button. The HTML file will now be downloaded to your local machine.

Click the verify button, after a few moments you should see an ownership message.
